We are currently in the studio working on a brand new CD! This CD is a collaboration that includes musicians in Nashville and Massachusetts and a veteran producer of acts including Seals & Crofts. We are very excited to be working with these truly talented musicians and we look forward to the finished product. Our first EP from this project is in the post production phase and we are very excited to get some samples out soon. We hope you will check back in from time to time for updates...once complete, the CD(s) will be available right here on our website. 4/24/12
Welcome! My name is Ted Painter and I'm an original country music songwriter. My tunes tend to walk the line between the neo-traditional and contemporary styles--more Hank and less Flatts. I love performing and rarely pass on an opportunity to do so, but my true passion is songwriting. To that end, myself and John Prunier work together to shape and craft songs and when performing, we generally do so as a duo. However, occasionally we will pull some other musicians into the act for a full band sound--depending on the gig. We hope you enjoy listening to the acoustic and band demo's that are available here (there are several in the automatic player que, just keep listening) and I invite you to learn more about the Ted Painter Band on the other pages of this website. Feel free to leave comments, suggestions, or send us an email.
Keepin' it real,
Ted
"This isn’t the teen set’s pop country music. Nope, not by a long shot. The Ted Painter Band is neo-traditional country. Think Willie to Johnny to Alan Jackson ~ songwritin’ outlaws hangin’ out with Brad Paisely and Dierks Bentley." The Pulse Magazine
"Keepin’ It Real, a five-track EP of contemporary country-fried tunes that run the thematic gamut from kids coming of age to contemplating the economy while imbibing bar side...simply put, is just a fun album." Skope Magazine
"[Ridin' High' is] an impressive debut CD that will please fans of country and rockabilly alike. Even those who don’t have a penchant for country music will find themselves singing and toe tapping along to the music – this is almost a guarantee." The Pulse Magazine
